Individual coaching helps you create a clear perspective on your life and know yourself better.

Awareness of yourself. Awareness of your reality. Awareness of your options.

Knowing yourself creates conscious choices and those choices create greater results.

During our individual coaching sessions, Amy focuses on what is important to you. Additionally, she will look at what you want, what you value, and what has prevented you from achieving your goals and dreams so far.

You set the agenda. You know what you want to achieve (and if you don’t, Amy will address it!).

Amy offers insightful, passionate, and professional support to help you find your own answers. She does this by listening, asking powerful and non-judgmental questions, and empowering you.

It all starts with an initial conversation to get to know each other. During this conversation, Amy and you will briefly explore your goals for coaching. This will allow you to determine whether Amy is the right fit and coach for you!

Once you decide to work with Amy, both of you will have a more “intensive” intake conversation. This intake is then followed by 6-8 coaching sessions, depending on what has been agreed upon. Amy will ask you to work on assignments in between the sessions or to reflect on a question or questions. All in support of your personal growth.

After 6-8 sessions, we will together evaluate where you are in your development, what you have accomplished, and whether you have reached your goals. This evaluation will determine whether coaching needs have been achieved or may continue for a few more sessions (if you deem necessary).

Sessions will last approximately one hour (except the initial conversation and intake session). Sessions are scheduled every 2-3 weeks.

There are several individual coaching options. Below are just a few Amy offers. Which one is the right type of coaching for you?

Executive Coaching

Executive coaching is one of the most powerful ways to develop yourself and become a successful leader. In fact, leaders in any industry who have a coach are more successful than those who don’t. Executive coaching helps you find the answers to dilemmas like:

  • How can I be a more effective leader?
  • How do I stay authentic, even in a highly political environment?
  • How do I get buy-in from my teams?
  • How do I create a better work-life balance?
  • How do I translate my leadership into effective teams and results?

Career Coaching

Do you recognize one or more of the questions below? Do you have similar questions? Then career coaching might be helpful for you.

  • What are the next steps to furthering my career?
  • What are my strengths and challenges and how can I make them work for me in my job?
  • Why am I not satisfied with my work?

Personal Coaching

You might desire a different approach to one or more things in your life. Have you found yourself saying:

  • I want more time for myself.
  • I want to create more joy and less stress.
  • I want more balance and satisfaction in my personal life.
  • I aim to create a healthier lifestyle.
  • I wish I had stronger personal boundaries.
  • I want to be more fulfilled.

Whatever your life needs, a personal coaching relationship can support you in creating the life you want for yourself and keeping it on track.

Amy will walk you through a process to discover your personal mission statement and vision for your future. Both the content and duration can be customized to fit your individual goals and availability. Key components of the process include:

A quick, online assessment, is powerful, intuitive and highly memorable.  You will use the information you gain from this printed report in nearly every aspect of your life. It provides the framework of who you are, including your motivations, values, likes, and dislikes.  In addition, you will gain clarity about the tendencies of how you work, play, lead, negotiate, take action, solve conflicts, handle relationships, complete tasks, socialize and more.

Many people we meet have asked the questions:

— “Why am I here?”
— “What am I supposed to be doing with my life?”
— “I feel like I was born to do something different than I am doing.”

After a basic understanding of your personality framework, you will begin to develop a sense of mission, learn to identify several false assumptions about the mission, define your core values, clarify your tribe and write your own personal mission statement.

The Dalai Lama is quoted as saying, “In order to carry a positive action, we must develop here a positive vision.” Once the framework of your mission is determined, Amy will work with you to align it with a vision of your future. You will finish this phase of the process by creating a specific Action Plan to accelerate toward that vision.
